Having been focusing the majority of our time and energy on a couple of new projects for a while now, we’ve decided that the time has come to draw Cardifferent Clothing to a close. It’s not been an easy decision, perhaps because our identities have become so interwoven with our clothing label over the years, but ultimately, when we looked to the future, it felt like the right thing to do.
We’d like to offer our thanks to all the people who’ve shown us love over the years, whether it’s been through placing an order, dropping us an encouraging email, or coming up us in a club at 2 in the morning and saying, “Aren’t you the guys who do Cardifferent? – your t-shirts are dope!”. For us, it’s been many things : a sometimes colossal source of stress (especially at the beginning); the perfect excuse not to get a permanent 9 – 5; the subject of countless hours of late night conversation; and, ultimately, a creative project which has brought us a huge amount of enjoyment and satisfaction.
We’ve decided to retain ownership of the brand in case we feel like bringing out a new collection sometime in the future, and, for anybody who wants to pick up a piece from the current range, there’s still a very limited number of items available through the website. Chances are you won’t hear from us again for a little while – we’ve both still got a ways to go with our new projects – but we can’t wait to share them with you, so stay connected to this page, keep your ears to the ground, and keep supporting Cardiff’s independents.
