To make way for spring we’ve dropped the prices on the last of our remaining stock. Last time to pick up a piece whilst stock last.

2 new colourway drops have just hit the online store. We’ve gone for a yellow on black House Sound of Cardiff t-shirt, inspired by the original promo poster for the same design, and a white on black Najavo t-shirt, which a lot of people had been requesting. We’re very happy with how they’ve both come out and hope that you like them as much as we do. Both are limited edition : only 20 pieces of each have been printed.
Thought we’d share with you some of the designs which didn’t make it to print for our 2011 range. It was a tough decision to leave them out, but there’s always the concern of not wanting to print too many designs at the same time, and of trying to create a coherent feel for the range as a whole. That’s one of the things we’ve learnt over the years : not only has a design got to be strong, it’s also got to complement the other designs in the range. Hopefully there’ll be room for one of these in the future.
Day 2 in the pop up shop and all’s good. The tunes are flowing, the heating is on high, and there’s a consistent stream of people coming through the door. Having operated as a mail order business for the past 5 years, it’s a real pleasure to be seeing so many customers face to face for the first time.
If you haven’t been down yet, feel free to swing by. We’re open from 11am till 7pm every day from now until christmas. All collection pieces are selling at 15% less than online, plus there’s some rare old pieces from the 2007 range which are selling fast.

This Friday, for the first time ever, we’re opening a pop up shop in the city centre. All the clothes will be out on display, including a few men’s and women’s pieces from the last range, and all the clothes will be selling at a discounted price, with up to 40% off selected items. So if you’re in town anytime between Friday the 16th and Christmas eve, feel free to swing by, look at some clothes, have a cup of tea, and listen to some tunes.
Get down to Undertone on the 22nd of this month for another banging City Bass night. The last gig Wbeeza did for City Bass went off, so this one is bound to as well. Unfortunately we ended up having to turn quite a few people away at the door for our 5th birthday party with Funkineven, so best to arrive early to avoid disappointment this time round.
Just came across this video of Ninjah doing some of his infamous bin percussion on Queen Street whilst rocking one of our Childsplay Multi t-shirts last summer. The man’s definitely got rhythm. T-shirt looks good on him too. We actually sold out of our last ever Childsplay Multi t-shirt the other day. After All Caps, I think it must have been our 2nd best ever selling t-shirt.
Track from Moomin’s new album, currently on constant loop in Cardifferent HQ.
The winner of our sticker competition is this man, seen here sporting a Cardifferent sticker on BBC Question Time a few nights ago, in front of an average viewing audience of 2.8 million. Thanks to everybody else who entered, including those of you who sent your photos in via email – in the end we couldn’t help feel that the TV appearance trumped all the laptops and lampposts, but we fully enjoyed checking them all out.
